PETITION TO SAVE OUR HOSPITAL

Madera Community Hospital (MCH) is barely on life support. The bankruptcy court is ready to drop the hammer and liquidate the hospital. The judge has given MCH a tight timeline to demonstrate that it has secured a buyer or management service to take over operations. Adventist Health has signed a letter of intent to reopen the hospital, but only if there’s a guaranteed commitment of $85 million for operating expenses for the next 2 years. MCH has applied for $80 million to the State’s Distressed Hospital Loan Fund. The award and the amount granted will determine whether MCH reopens. The State has indicated that it will announce its decisions by mid-month.

 

TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE. Please sign the petition and get family, relatives, neighbors, friends, colleagues, etc., to also sign the petition urging the Governor and legislature to do everything within their power to ensure that Madera Community Hospital reopens. It’s a matter of life and death.

 

PETICION PARA SALVAR NUESTRO HOSPITAL

Hospital Comunitario de Madera(MCH) está apenas con respiración asistida. El tribunal de quiebras está listo para dejar caer el martillo y comenzar la liquidación del hospital. El juez ha dado a MCH un plazo súper apretado para demostrar que se ha asegurado un comprador o servicio de gestión para hacerse cargo de las operaciones. Adventist Health ha firmado una carta con la intención de reabrir el hospital, pero sólo si se garantiza un compromiso de 85 millones de dólares para gastos de funcionamiento durante los próximos 2 años. El MCH ha presentado una solicitud de 80 millones de dólares al Programa de Préstamos para Hospitales en Dificultades. La adjudicación y el importe concedido determinarán la reapertura del MCH. El Estado ha indicado que anunciará sus decisiones a mediados de mes.

EL TIEMPO APREMIA.
